When I was a child I loved to watch movies about King Arthur.

One movie I watched never showed the face of the Lady of the Lake and I have always wondered what she may have looked like as Merlin threw Excalibur in the lake and only her hand rose from the water to catch the famed sword. This painting is how I imagined how  Nimue, Lady of the Lake would look when not waiting on the swords return to its keeper.

Medium: Mixed Media - I start with texture paste then add a layer of spray-paints, then Acrylics and finally oil colors.

All pieces are completed with varnish.
