The story of this painting was inspired by Egyptian folklore.

Horus was an ancient Egyptian god whose physical appearance was likened to the form of a falcon. Horus's right eye was the sun or morning star, representing power and quintessence

I wanted to incorporate new papers in my mixed medium paintings. The dots are a base of paper adhered to the canvas using texture paste, it was finally brought to life using gold oil paints.
